Become part of the design and build team for Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's (MBTA) largest-ever construction project— the 4.7-mile extension of the Green Line through Somerville and Medford. Provides operational and administrative support on active projects and tasks under the direction of Project Managers to ensure completion of project deadlines by coordinating and tracking of project requirements.
Assist the PM in the submission and approval of design contract deliverables. Draft, edit, format, fact-check, and proofread a variety of documents. Prepare project organization and communication charts. Understand the terms of each contract and what  the company is accountable for. Maintain Contract Execution Tracking Log. Process, coordinate and distribute the execution of contracts and ensure all agreements are maintained electronically and physically in the document control system. Assist the PM in the review of subcontractor cost submittals to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval. Creating and maintaining policies and procedures for effective and efficient project coordination. Keep the PM and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations, like 75% funding. Being accountable for standardizing reporting formats. Ensures project documents are updated as required. Assists with project close-out which include turnover to Customer Service and final payments. Bachelor’s Degree - Engineering, Construction Management or Business. 5-8 years’ Project Controls and/or Contract Administration  experience in civil projects. Knowledge of spreadsheet, graphics, and data base management, and word processing software.Transit experience preferred. Proficient in MS Office Suite
