Position Summary
Triunity Engineering & Management, Inc. (Triunity) is a Professional Services firm offering Engineering, Project/Construction Management and Project Control services.  We are currently looking for a dedicated team player to join our growing firm.  The Junior Staff Accountant will support the firm’s accounting department. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create payroll invoice in accounting software
  • Reconcile time off accruals
  • Update employee information within payroll software as needed, such as hourly rates, deductions for benefits, tax withholding allowances, and direct deposit information
  • Record payroll data in our software system and verify all amounts prior to cutting checks
  • Record employee complaints, questions and concerns about payroll services and communicate those issues to HR manager
  • Maintain compliant policies and procedures for processing payroll checks
  • Input vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records
  • Prepare list of checks for accounts payable
  • Sort vendor invoices and checks
  • File all data entry backup
  • Process bills for payment
  • Process expense reports for payment
  • Record charges and refunds
  • Coordinate with PM’s to receive Progress Reports included with monthly client invoicing
  • Prepare monthly client invoices
  • Receive mail and match payments to invoices
  • Arrange for money to be delivered to bank
  • Assist with gathering documentation for annual audit
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 1-3 years experience
  • At least 6 months of previous payroll experience
  • Understanding of general ledger accounts
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Effective organizational skills and time management skills
